Last Tuesday was primary day for the 2007 elections in New York. The offices on the ballot included judicial candidates, District Leaders, County Committee, and Delegates to Judicial Committee. The most competitive races were for judges in Brooklyn, and most media coverage of the primary centered on these races. The winners of the judicial races in Brooklyn were:
Brooklyn Surrogate - Diana Johnson

Brooklyn Civil Court Judge - District 6 - Katherine A Levine
The Gotham Gazette has full election results.
