On Sunday, June 7, DFNYC marched in the Queens Pride parade in Jackson Heights, Queens.

Queens is proving to be a major nexus in the push to enact marriage equality in New York. Three of the seven state Senators in Queens are not fully on board, and many groups are organizing constituents throughout Queens to let their Senators know that there is tremendous support for marriage equality. DFNYC's participation in this parade was a public demonstration of how deeply many of our members have gotten involved on this issue.
