Recruiting Volunteers at Columbus Circle this Thursday
Written by Josh Silverstein
Monday, 18 August 2008
What can we do without traveling? Lets talk to people who live outside of New York City and encourage them to volunteer when they get home. While we are there, we will register voters an sell some buttons. We will meet at the entrance to central park 59th street and 5th avenue. The area is full of tourists: visiting the park, shopping and visiting Columbus circle. We will have buttons to sell, voter registration forms, and information to help people volunteer in the state where they live. You can come for the whole time or for as long as you like.

Date: Thursday August 21st

Time: 3-7 pm
