With the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire presidential primary coming up on January 8, volunteers are descending on the Granite State to stump for the various candidates. DFNYC's Steve Behar has been on the ground there with the Clinton campaign since December 27 and reports that the need for volunteers in all campaigns is great. If you have the time to travel to New Hampshire or just the time to volunteer at an NYC phone bank, we encourage you to get involved in the process and help the Democratic Party choose the best candidate for the critical November election.
To volunteer, visit your candidate's website and find the volunteer link:
John Edwards
Hillary Clinton
Dennis Kucinich
Barack Obama
Bill Richardson
Mike Gravel
Tom Predhome from the Edwards campaign contacted DFNYC in response to Edwards' strong showing in our endorsement vote and said that DFNYC members wishing to travel to NH to canvass for Edwards may contact him at rtpredhome -at- yahoo.com or call him at 917-723-3442. Mention that you are with DFNYC and he assures us that you will get first priority in supporter housing and on their ride board.
If you are with a campaign and have specific contact info or volunteer opportunities for NYC residents, please contact us at info -at- dfnyc.org.
