The New York Chapter of the Dutch Labor Party is hosting one of their "Dinner & Debate" events with DFNYC-endorsed candidate Luke Henry.
When: Friday, July 11, 7:30pm.
Where: Chairman Gerrit Groen will be our host for the evening.
80 Fourth Avenue, Apt. 6B, between E 10th & E 11th Streets (subway: Union Square).
Costs will be $20/person to cover food. (This will go to the Dutch Labor Party, not to Luke Henry's campaign.

Het bestuur van PvdA New York nodigt u uit voor een volgende Dinner & Debate, op vrijdagavond 11 juli a.s. (vanaf 19.30 uur).
Voor het EERST hebben we een gastspreker die een lokale kandidaat is voor een politieke post! Nu de Republikein en State Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno zichzelf met pensioen heeft gestuurd lijkt het ook tijd voor verandering in de Democratische gelederen. De PvdA New York heeft de eer om de uitdager van de zittende Democratische afgevaardigde en Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver uit te nodigen: Luke Henry.
Luke zal onder meer vertellen over zijn kandidatuur, zijn campagne en wat er naar zijn mening op het spel staat, zoals Campaign Finance Reform (hoe verkiezingen worden gefinancierd), Education en Housing.

Dinner & Debate with Luke Henry, Friday 11 July
The board of the Dutch Labor Party (branch New York) warmly invites you for a next D&D on Friday 11 July from 7.30 pm onwards.
For the very FIRST time we have invited a guest speaker who is a local candidate for a political post: Luke Henry is a Democrat running for the State Assembly against Sheldon Silver, the incumbent Democratic representative and Assembly Speaker! Will there soon be change in the Democratic leadership just as in the Republican camp, where State Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno announced his retirement?
Among other things, Luke will talk about his candidacy, his campaign and the issues at stake, such as the high cost of housing in New York, Education and the way campaigns are funded in the U.S.
