Democracy for America (DFA) is the organization founded by Howard Dean after he ended his presidential campaign in February of 2004. Democracy for NYC (DFNYC) is part of a national coalition of local Democracy for America groups committed to advancing a socially progressive and fiscally responsible agenda.
