Dennis Kucinich's resolution of privilege to impeach VP Cheney was tabled as expected but unexpectedly the vote to table was denied and the House voted to allow H. Res. 333 to the floor for debate. The Democrats quickly moved to put it back in the Judiciary Committee where it had languished for months. Jerrold Nadler voted with the majority to squelch debate of an issue about which we have been passionately petitioning him. One member of the Judiciary, Rep. Robert Wexler (D-FL), is calling for the committee "to schedule impeachment hearing immediately..."
