Apparently some stock NY protest footage was used for the Elijah Wood movie Day Zero. If you watch the trailer at www.DayZeroMovie.com, about half way though you will see a Democracy for NYC sign. Who knows...maybe you're in it too!

I have not seen the film and DFNYC had no official involvement with its production. However, the film was an official selection at last year's Tribeca Film Festival and the plot revolving around three friends facing a newly enacted draft to fight in a Middle East war certainly sounds thought-provoking. It has just been released on DVD.
