Democracy for America, the organization Howard Dean started after his presidential campaign, is turning 5 years old!

DFA supporters across the country are hosting DFA birthday events this upcoming Wednesday, March 25th, and we'll dial into a conference call with Howard Dean at 9pm EST.

~ Manhattan ~  w/Special Guest Speaker Jim Dean

Where:  Galway Hooker (upstairs in the back), 7 East 36th Street, btwn 5th & Madison Avenues (It's a bar/lounge named after a type of Irish sailboat, in case you were wondering.)

When:  Wed. Mar. 25th, Party begins at 8pm, Conference call at 9pm

Cost:   Attendance is free.  Galway Hooker has a cash bar and dinner menu.

~ Bayside Queens ~

Where:  The Chabad Center of Northeast Queens, 26-06 213th Street, Bayside.  (Please note that the group will meet in the Synagogue.  The usual location, the community room, has been turned into a matzo factory.)  

When:  Wed., Mar. 25.  At 7:30, the monthly meeting of Democrats for New Politics ("DNP") will take place. (DNP is a progressive local club that started to protest the Vietnam War.) The group will dial into the DFA conference call with Howard Dean at 9pm.
