DFNYC is joining with Queens County Young Democrats, St. John's College Democrats and the Anoroc Democratic Club to sponsor a Comptroller candidate forum.

Directions: By subway, take the #7 local to 46th St., walk up to 47th St. and turn right, then walk just over one block. By bus, take the Q32 or Q60 to 46th St., walk up to 47th St. and turn right, then walk just over one block. The club is on the left side of the street.

The New York City Comptroller, an independently elected official, is the Chief Financial Officer of the City of New York. The mission of the office is to ensure the financial health of New York City by advising the Mayor, the City Council, and the public of the City's financial condition. In addition, the Comptroller manages assets of the five New York City Pension Funds, performs budgetary analysis, audits city agencies and registers proposed contracts.
