Join us this Tuesday!  DFNYC has invited City Council Speaker Christine Quinn to speak at a DFNYC linkup-style event. 

When:  This Tuesday, May 19, 2009, 5:45-6:30pm, feel free to stay later for another event at The Tank, see below.  Speaker Quinn will be there from 6:00pm to 6:30pm, soplease arrive early if possible so we can start on time.

Where:  The Tank NYC, 354 West 45th St., between 8th & Ninth Avenues

Democracy for NYC has invited all the candidates in the Democratic primary for Council District 3 (West Village, Chelsea, Hell's Kitchen) to speak to our members at Linkup.  Candidates Yetta Kurland and Maria Passanante Derr joined us in March and April respectively. 

The incumbent, Speaker Christine Quinn, was not able to speak at one of our regular first-Wednesday Linkups due to scheduling issues, so she agreed to join us at this Linkup-style event this Tuesday.
