SUMMARY:NYC Election Day - Primary
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:

Upate: Click here for ele
ction night parties.

It's election year! In New York City,
the mayor's office, all city council seats, and several other offices, will
be on the ballot on Tuesday, September 10th, primary election day.

Because most voters in New York City are Democrats, the primary elec
tion *is* the general election for most races. If you want to have a voice
in NYC politics, the best way to do so is to get involved in the Democrati
c primaries. Anyone who is registered in the Democratic party (as of a cer
tain date) can vote, and everybody can volunteer for a candidate.

</
p>
Polls will be open from 6am to 9pm.

To view a list of DF
