 everal other offices, will be on the ballot on Tuesday, September 10th, pri
 mary election day.\n\n\n \n\n\nBecause most voters in New York City are Dem
 ocrats, the primary election *is* the general election for most races.  If 
 you want to have a voice in NYC politics, the best way to do so is to get i
 nvolved in the Democratic primaries.  Anyone who is registered in the Democ
 ratic party (as of a certain date) can vote, and everybody can volunteer fo
 r a candidate.\n\n\n \n\n\nPolls will be open from 6am to 9pm.\n\n\n \n\n\n
